Hula Hammerhead

Yes, my style does tend towards fantastical and whimsical. I spent the first half of my life doing serious and intense. Now I'm exploring a more relaxed existence. That being said, I mean no disrespect to the real life versions of the creatures that I model my origami after. Hammerhead sharks are super amazing.

Hula Hammerhead is folded from a single square, 48" x 48".

Finished model with the base (if you were to fit in in a box) is 17” length x 12.5” width x 17” height. The mosaic base was made for Hula Hammerhead as a collaborative project with multi-talented artist Kathleen Jaeger.
