"Little Bastard" the Ground hog

This is an example of a really fun origami commission.

Patron: Can you make an origami groundhog?

Shannon: Can you tell me more about the groundhog. 

Patron: The groundhog's name is "Little Bastard." It came with the house and keeps raiding the garden and taunting the new home owners.

The timing was perfect. I'd just finished Ori-Nif, my version of J.K. Rowling's niffler and I thought I could borrow parts of that design to create "Little Bastard." He needed a narrower tail and an entirely different head and face, but it all worked out, and on the first try even. Even though I took photos along the way, I'm pretty sure I can't replicate this piece exactly, which makes it truly one-of-a-kind.
