I had a clear vision of what I wanted my origami owl to look like but it took many tries and more than a year to successfully create the owl in my mind. Owls are the farthest I've strayed from purist origami (and perhaps the closest I've come to true art?). Each owl is fashioned from three rectangles sheets, wire, glue, and glass eyes.
